How to prepare your home for a deep clean
30 minutes of prep doubles the team’s impact: what to lift, what to leave, what to say in advance.
A deep clean does not mean the team has to discover the floor under laundry. With 30 minutes of prep you pay for cleaning, not logistics. Clear counters, free the tub and shower, lift small rugs you want washed separately.
Cupboards are not cleaned inside if they are full — that is normal. If you want shelves done, empty them first. The fridge must be defrosted if you want the interior. The oven cleans better if it is not packed with trays.
Mention pets, the alarm, parking and noise-sensitive neighbours. Set aside fragile or sentimental items. You do not need to clean beforehand — you only need the space to be walkable.
